Reviews of 24 Season 2 DVD
|
DVD Town
Season Two, in my opinion, did not contain the necessary ingredients that made Season One such a big hit.
Although the expectations are higher the second time around, it does not mean that the producers can be
forgiven to drop the ball on this one. My biggest beef with Season Two is the unwelcome development of Kim
Bauer’s role that doesn’t seem to go anywhere except bring the entire show down.

DVD Verdict
As with the first season, Season 2 follows its initial storyline, the hunt for the nuclear bomb,
for about half the season, then shifts gears toward a more Tom Clancy-style political thriller,
as Bauer must hunt for the bomb's origin before Palmer is forced to declare war in the Middle East.

Movie Web
Those familiar with the series will already be familiar with the real time aspect of the story, and it's back. It's not just a cheap gimmick like it
was in Nick Of Time though because the real time story of 24 really is used to heighten the drama.

Space
can't believe that it's possible to say this, but it is: the second season
of 24 is even better than the first. You'd think by now that the novelty of the
real-time gimmick would have worn off, or that now that we know about all the reversals
in the first season we'd be better prepared for them in the second.
