30 Rock TV Show stars Tina Fey as a writer for the "Girlie Show" on NBC. One of the shows bright spots is Alec Baldwin who
plays an upper executive of the media conglomerate which he knows little about, but happens to make a few brilliant moves by accident.
In order to appreciate the show you need to watch at least 3 episodes. I
still remember seeing commercials for 30 Rock and saying, "wow that show seems strange." After a few episodes you really start
to enjoy the writing which is full of great comedy.

Critic Reviews of 30 Rock TV Show
|
San Francisco Chronicle
The original pilot sent to critics was decently funny, but rough in spots and not fully realized. To get a more accurate picture of how "30 Rock" was going to be, critics really needed to see two or more episodes.
Tim Goodman
USA Today
By now, you've probably heard the knock on 30 Rock. It's yet another NBC showbiz series set behind the scenes at an SNL-type show. Much of the credit goes to Fey, a clever writer who has written her part so that it stays within her limited performance range...
Robert Bianco
Chicago Tribune
Fey no doubt has plenty of anti-network ire stored up from her years as head writer of “Saturday Night Live,” but if “30 Rock” is going to mock lame comedy ideas, it should dial back its tendency to hit the viewer over the head with jokes and telegraph punchlines.
Maureen Ryan
Orlando Sentinel
Fey takes invigorating swipes at NBC and its parent company, General Electric. She does so through a remarkable character: executive Jack Donaghy, who describes himself as "vice president of East Coast television and microwave-oven programming."

I have a non HD receiver in my home that I purchased outright from DISH. I didn't want to pay a recurring fee every month to keep my cost down. I would like to add a few additional TVs (upstair bedrooms). I called Dish to ask how much the receivers were and that I was again interested in paying for them outright. They gave me a good price for a dual and standard so I could hook up an additional 3 TVs in the home. When I decided to go for it, they informed me that I would have to pay an additional $28.00 per month (more than half my monthly bill already) to have these TVs connected and to receive signal. Is this true? You must pay each additional TV connected in the home? Is there a way I can hook up my additional TVs to the existing receiver I have without having to pay for this monthly?
