Audio Video Sender
Updated: 01-15-2010

Wireless Audio Video Senders allow you to transmit video and audio signals anywhere in your home. Most devices have a range that allows for an excellent picture quality and crisp stereo sound throughout your home.

Wireless audio video senders are a great accessory for a satellite receiver. At the 5.8Ghz frequency range, this device can transmit a video and audio signal up to 300 feet through walls. You simply connect the transmitter up to your satellite (or other video source) and place the receiver at any television in the house. It is a great accessory to own if you have an exercise room or den with an extra TV set. A wireless audio video sender allows you to transmit programs to additional televisions without paying for an extra satellite receiver.

Another feature that audio video senders offer is the ability to transfer remote control signals back to the original sending device. For example, if you are sending a satellite signal to an exercise room somewhere in the basement you have the ability to take the remote control with you and change channels!

Question: Do audio and video senders transmit high definition video as well as standard video?

Answer: Yes, but they are much more expensive than the traditional audio video senders. Typically the HD versions cost over $100 and the standard versions are less than $50.
