Wireless Audio Video Senders
allow you to transmit video and audio signals anywhere in your
home. The 2.4Ghz range allow for an excellent picture quality and
crisp stereo sound.
Wireless audio video senders are a great accessory for a satellite
receiver. At the 2.4Ghz frequency this device can transmit
a video and audio signal up to 300 feet through walls. You simply
connect the transmitter up to your satellite (or other video source)
and place the receiver at any television in the house. It is a great
accessory to own if you have an exercise room or den with an extra TV set. A wireless
audio video sender allows you to watch your favorite show without
paying for an extra satellite receiver.
Article Update... March 2005
Wireless audio video senders have moved from the 2.4 Ghz range to 5.8 Ghz which offers
even better picture and sound. 5.8 Ghz senders offer an additional 100 feet of signal strength
on top of the standard 300 feet from the 2.4 Ghz range. Another feature that is becoming
standard in audio video senders is the ability to transfer remote control signals back
to the original sending device. For example, if you are sending a satellite signal to an
exercise room somewhere in the basement you know have the ability to take the remote control
with you and change the channels!
Satellite vs Cable
Satellite dishes and cable boxes seem to be quite popular. The old
traditional antenna is becoming obsolete. Data packets of information
enter your television through the sky or from a network of cables.
One question still remains, "which is better for me?"
Digital Video Recorder
Digital Video Recorders
are one of the best solutions to commercial
free TV. They provide you with the ability to watch and record a
show at the same time.
Scratched DVD Solutions
If you are like me, and have
small children, it is inevitable that some of your DVD collection will
become scratched or damaged. Here are three solutions for fixing or avoiding
scratched and damaged DVDs.
Online DVD Rentals
It started with a company in California named Netflix.
The idea was to offer DVD rentals by mail with no late fees.
They eventually went public and raised money for more distribution
centers. This would allow most customers to receive their movies in
one or two days. They attracted the attention of two companies called
Blockbuster and Wal-Mart. Let the competition begin!
eBay Registration
eBay has emerged as a common everyday word. Before the year 2000
many of us probably never heard of the service. You can usually find a great product
at a great price. There is quite an addictive thrill from winning an auction,
especially when you get a deal!
DVD Box Sets
Television DVD Box Sets contain a full season of a specific TV show recorded onto a DVD.
One of the best features of a television DVD Box Set is that they do not
include commercials!
