Bones TV Show is a drama and is very loosely based on the works of real-life forensic anthropologist Kathy
Reichs, who is herself a producer on the show. Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan is named after the protagonist of
Reichs' crime novel series. The show reproduces the success of CSI and is a forensics and police procedural drama
in which each episode focuses on an FBI case file discovering the mystery behind the human remains brought to Dr.
Brennan's forensic anthropology team.

USA Today
Let other crime shows compete for your attention by growing ever more sick, gory and graphic. Bones is built on a more traditional and solid foundation: the strength of its characters.
Robert Bianco
Boston Globe
Is "Fingernails" in our future? Or, perhaps, "Nose Hair"? As TV's forensic detectives become evermore specialized, Fox is introducing "Bones,"
about a Washington, D.C., anthropologist who uses skeletal remains to catch murderers. Painstakingly, she pieces
together decomposing tibias and fibulas and patellas, reading them as if they were some kind of cartilaginous I Ching.
Matthew Gilbert
Pop Matters
For the new Fox series Bones -- very loosely based on Reichs' books -- Tempe has been relocated to Washington D.C.'s fictional (as in, please don't confuse it with the Texas-based charity of the same name) Jeffersonian Institute, and stripped of most of her social skills. Not only that, she has also been turned into a part-time author who writes books about a forensic anthropologist called... wait for it... Kathy Reichs.

CSI TV Show
CSI is a huge success and quickly took
the top spot on prime time television. CSI (Crime Scene Investigation)
uses graphic images to
display clues of the investigation process.
House TV Show
is a medical drama that has a different twist. If not, why would we need
another medical drama TV show. Dr. house is a weird, grumpy, strange, and brilliant doctor.
NCIS TV Show
A team of special agents, operating outside the military chain of command,
must investigate crimes with pieces of evidence connected to Navy and Marine Corps.
The Unit TV Show
cost over a million dollars to make - per episode. Based on former commando
book "Inside Delta Force" the Unit is about a special team that doesn't technically exist.
