Brothers & Sisters TV Show is centered around the Walker family who live in San Marino,
California and have a vacation ranch in Ojai, California.
Some of the family members are involved in the family-owned business running a food produce distributorship.
Most of the action is set in the Greater Los Angeles area and deals with relationships between siblings and
an over zealous mother. Complications arise as the writers inject current day events into the family dynamic.
The main branches of the Walker family tree included father William,
mother Nora, and their five children. Nora's brother, Saul Holden, who helps run the Walker
family business is also a main character of the show.

Reviews of Brothers & Sisters TV Show
|
USA Today
Much discussed, much altered and much delayed, Brothers & Sisters is neither as bad as you might expect given that troubled history nor as good as you might hope given the talents involved.
Robert Bianco
TV Guide
ABC’s new family saga Brothers & Sisters spent the summer under a cloud of negative speculation, with cast and producer changes keeping the revised pilot sight unseen for months. The end result is far from a disaster, thankfully, though something less than a triumph.

Pop Matters
"I’m not the person you think I am." Kitty Walker’s first words on Brothers and Sisters let Calista Flockhart’s fans know she is not playing Ally McBeal. Where Ally was flighty and confused, Kitty is driven and levelheaded. The comparison is noteworthy because Brothers and Sisters has generated considerable buzz due to the fact that it is Flockhart’s first television endeavor since Ally.
