The New Adventures of Old Christine TV Show has the "curse" to overcome. Most post Seinfeld stars
have been unsuccessful in a lasting TV series. Old Christine" played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a divorced
mom who's seems to have life figured out. She has a decent relationship with her ex-husband and does well
as a part-time mom. The show starts when her ex-husband introduces his new girlfriend, a
younger woman also named Christine. To the shows advantage, and putting a rest to the curse, Julia Louis-Dreyfus
has been nominated for an Emmy!

Reviews of The New Adventures of Old Christine TV Show
|
Variety
So much for the "Seinfeld" curse: Julia Louis-Dreyfus breaks it with one of the best conventional half-hours to come along in a while -- a sharp, funny romp created by actress-turned-writer/producer Kari Lizer.
Brian Lowry
Pop Matters
While The New Adventures of Old Christine isn't the worst sitcom to premiere in recent years, it repeats the same old saws concerning women of a certain age. Why are all 40-something women lovelorn failures?

Entertain Your Brain
Elaine Benes, is back with her second post-“Seinfeld” show, and I think that her show on CBS called “The New Adventures of Old Christine” might finally break the curse for the actress.

Grey's Anatomy TV Show
Operations. Relations. Complications. A drama centered on the personal and professional lives of five
surgical interns and their supervisors.
Lost TV Show
is about 48 people that have survived a horrific plane crash in the South Pacific -- but
they were 1,000 miles off course when it happened, so no one knows where they are.
Desperate Housewives TV Show
This show is a prime time soap that pokes fun at
the perfect and happy life of "normal" families in the suburbs.
Seinfeld TV Show
was probably the most popular
comedy TV show of the nineties. It seemed to connect with the
nothingness of every day life. Maybe the reason it was so funny,
is that everyone could relate to at least a few episodes.
