First Aired: July 20, 2005 on FOX Created by: Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe So You Think You Can Dance TV Show is a spin off of American Idol and has been able to gain it's own identity and success. The second season really brought the show to the top of the Summer's rating with Benji's star performances. The show follows the American Idol format and starts off with several auditions which eventually lead to 20 finalists. After a while the judges turn the voting over to America, who choose the winner by telephone and text voting. |
